Vanguard appoints distributor of its solutions in Ireland

New distributor appointed

Vanguard has appointed a distributor for its healthcare capacity solutions across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Accuscience, based in Co. Kildare, took over management and distribution of the company’s units and services in Ireland at the beginning of July.

Vanguard mobile clinical units can increase clinical capacity in both planned and emergency situations. They can also help with reducing procedure waiting times.

Alongside its temporary mobile clinical environments such as operating theatres, endoscopy suites, day surgery, clinics and ward space which help healthcare providers, including the NHS, increase patient capacity and clinical space, Vanguard also provide highly trained support staff.

Complete solutions are also available, including enabling works and connecting corridors, along with individual unit development and staffing. All of these will be available in Ireland through Accuscience, a leading provider of specialist equipment, products, consumables and services.

Steve Peak, Vanguard Delivery and Development Director, said: “We welcome Accuscience as the distributors of our products and services throughout Ireland.

“As a company, we have previously worked in Ireland, developing solutions which are already in place. We are looking forward to Accuscience developing strong customer relationships to help us deliver more clinical capacity solutions.”

James McCann, General Manager of Accuscience, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Vanguard as the distributor of their services and products. We are looking forward to working as their partner in Ireland.

“The Vanguard units, along with their supporting enabling works and staffing, provide much-needed high quality additional capacity for healthcare providers who are planning a refurbishment of their existing environments, who may need extra capacity or who face an emergency situation.”
