Our minor injuries units (MIUs) can be sited close to the hospital’s emergency department, providing patients with an alternative route to treatment. 

The much-needed triage that MIUs provide enables patients with less serious injuries to be treated more quickly, leaving the emergency department to prioritise helping patients with serious or life-threatening injuries and illness.

MIUs can improve the overall patient experience as more people can be treated quickly, effectively and in the most comfortable environment possible. Our facilities can be used to create a suite of bespoke spaces providing a complete clinical environment where patients can be booked in, prepared, receive treatment and recover.

A temporary MIU facility can also help hospitals cope with additional demand during particularly busy times, such as the winter months.

How we installed an 8-bay mobile facility for patients awaiting admission to the emergency department.

We help hospitals to ease the pressure on their urgent and emergency care by installing Healthcare Spaces that provide capacity for applications such as pre-hospital treatment, ambulance handover, bed wait areas and delayed transfer of care. 

Our ambulance handover facilities can operate round-the-clock, providing a welcoming, reassuring space for patients while they await triage having arrived at the hospital by ambulance. The Healthcare Space can be configured with both patient and staff facilities, including toilets, changing rooms, and medical gases to ensure it is clinically high quality, as well as comfortable. 

Rapidly deployable, fully compliant, mobile facilities can be implemented within weeks. A more permanent, predesigned, modular, urgent care centre can be operational in around 60 days, or a tailor-made solution, perhaps a minor injury unit or a 24-bed ward, within a few months.
