Day case centres

With additional facilities you can ease the mounting pressure on the heath system and improve patient satisfaction. Our bespoke day case facilities significantly increase capacity and post-operation bed space, supporting clinical activity in specialisms including general surgery, endoscopy, and plastic surgery. 

Patients can be admitted and discharged from within the facility, allowing it to operate either connected to the hospital or as a standalone. Requirements such as reception and waiting areas, a standard operating theatre and anaesthetic room can all be accommodated. You can add a consulting room, a changing room and admission/discharge areas. If a multi-bay recovery ward is required, we can configure that too.

If you need additional healthcare team members to operate the day case facility, we can arrange that for you. We can also provide medical equipment on request. It’s all part of our comprehensive solutions offering.

Our visiting hospital is a combination of an operating theatre and a hospital ward, specifically configured to meet your requirements and offering the choice of a standard or laminar flow ventilated operating room. 

This innovative combination of facilities allows for a complete patient pathway outside of the hospital’s own physical space but still within the premises of its estate. Usually used as a day case facility, the visiting hospital provides an excellent means to preserve patient flow during refurbishment or to provide additional capacity for day surgery cases in times of high demand or when waiting lists are high.

Requirements such as a reception and nurse station, an operating theatre with integrated scrub area, an anaesthetic room, and a 2-bed, first-stage recovery area can all be accommodated. You can add a changing room and a refreshment area. If an integral walkway to another facility or hospital building is needed, we can sort that too.
