With the capability of providing mobile and modular-built facilities, Vanguard can provide the ideal operating environment, whether the requirement is for the short, medium or long term. Four knee replacements per day are currently being performed in a mobile theatre at Warwick Hospital, and as you can read here, the Vanguard theatre at the heart of the Trust's surgical hub provided great results during its first year. Vanguard's latest mobile theatre, pictured above, improves on the proven design, providing an operating room of 49m².

This year, within a few months, Vanguard installed four mobile theatres, two modular wards and a mobile endoscopy complex at Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

For a tailored design, greater capacity or a longer duration, a modular-built surgical facility may suit a healthcare provider's need better. Within five months of the first enquiry, Vanguard designed, built and installed a four-theatre surgical hub at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton.
