Like Vanguard's other mobile theatres, this larger facility is suitable for almost any general or specialist surgical procedures, including maternity, orthopaedic, cardiovascular, spinal, and gynaecological.

The layout is based on the simple, tried and tested floorplan of adjoining anaesthetic, operating and recovery rooms, maximising efficiency. This larger facility provides rooms and space required for staff and supplies, ensuring that the additional capacity is fully utilised and not constrained by reliance on the main hospital building.

This larger, laminar flow operating theatre can be connected seamlessly to the main hospital building, to another mobile facility, such as Vanguard's ten-bed ward, or to a custom-designed modular building.
