Additional surgery provision for Amsterdam Aesthetics

Q-bital Healthcare Solutions, the international branch of Vanguard, have been busy working alongside Young Medical, its distributor and partner in the Netherlands. Together they have delivered additional surgery provision for Amsterdam Aesthetics to help it meet increased demand for services.

The solution arrived with a turnaround time of less than 10 days from initial order to first procedure. The partners created and delivered a surgery and recovery suite for the private clinic which will see it increase its capacity for patients. The hospital had scheduled over 30 procedures for the first week alone.

Amsterdam Aesthetics is based in Amstelveen, around 20 kms south west of Amsterdam. The team there provides a range of high quality cosmetic procedures including breast augmentation and buttock enhancements as well as liposuction. It is also one of few clinics in the Benelux to offer robotized hair implants.

The clinic additionally provides a relaxing spa for use by those accompanying patients, where they can relax while they wait.

Facilitating high-quality patient services

Rob van Liefland, founder of Young Medical said: “The team at Amsterdam Aesthetics wanted to increase the variety and number of cosmetic procedures they could offer clients. To do so, they needed a class 1 operating theatre. Finding a temporary solution that offered alternative methods of surgery provision and was still fit for purpose was a challenge.

“While they develop their own facilities, they have chosen to install a Q-bital operating theatre. They are best in class in terms of their ventilation system and cleanliness, which are vitally important.

“We’re delighted that two days after the contract signing, the unit was in place on site. After all appropriate set up and testing, it was operational within 10 days. The unit includes a patient welcome area, an operating theatre and recovery suite. They are all in keeping with the luxury and quality offered by this clinic.”
