At Warwick Hospital, joined to the main building by a purpose-built corridor, a mobile theatre enables the Orthopaedics team to complete four joint replacements per day. 

Over 1,000 procedures in a year – mainly joint replacements, no missed slots, reduced stays, reduced waiting times, mutual aid realisation…all achieved by South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, with a Vanguard mobile theatre at the heart of its orthopaedic surgical hub.

A mobile theatre and mobile ward are seamlessly integrated to create a Day Surgery Centre at Milton Keynes University Hospital, performing over 100 procedures a week and earning rave reviews from healthcare providers and patients.
