Meest recentelijk werkte ze zeven jaar bij Specsavers Group, waarvan ruim vier jaar als Managing Director van Newmedica, een van de toonaangevende aanbieders van specialistische oogzorg in het Verenigd Koninkrijk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tijdens haar tijd bij Newmedica gaf Rebecca leiding aan de aanzienlijke uitbreiding van de landelijke aanwezigheid van de organisatie, waarbij ze nauw samenwerkte met NHS-inkopers en zorgpartners om de toegang tot zorg te verbeteren. Ze brengt ook aanzienlijke ervaring mee uit seniorfuncties op het gebied van strategie, transformatie en leiderschap bij Specsavers en ASDA, na een eerdere carri\u00e8re bij KPMG.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Haar benoeming komt op een belangrijk moment voor Vanguard en de zorgsystemen die we ondersteunen. In het hele Verenigd Koninkrijk worden zorgverleners geconfronteerd met een groeiende vraag, toenemende wachtlijsten en de noodzaak om verouderde gebouwen te vernieuwen en te moderniseren, terwijl tegelijkertijd de toegang tot hoogwaardige pati\u00ebntenzorg gewaarborgd moet blijven.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rebecca zei:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWat me aantrok in Vanguard is de mogelijkheid om deel uit te maken van de oplossing om meer pati\u00ebnten te helpen. We hebben een ervaren team, een sterke staat van dienst en de capaciteit om snel en flexibel hoogwaardige, koolstofarme zorgomgevingen te leveren, en dat tegen lagere kosten dan traditionele bouwmethoden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIk zet me vol enthousiasme in voor een partnerschap met de NHS en onafhankelijke zorgverleners om hun teams te helpen betere zorg te leveren aan pati\u00ebnten. Mijn focus zal liggen op het handhaven van een hoge klinische kwaliteit, het versterken van onze partnerschappen, het blijven innoveren en ervoor zorgen dat onze strategie nauw aansluit bij de behoeften van de gezondheidszorg.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als CEO zal Rebecca leiding geven aan de bredere activiteiten van Vanguard, waaronder onze activiteiten in de Britse gezondheidszorg en internationale activiteiten via <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.q-bital.com\/\">Q-bital gezondheidszorgoplossingen<\/a><\/strong>, en onze recent gelanceerde <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanguardlifesciences.co.uk\/\">Vanguard Levenswetenschappen<\/a><\/strong> divisie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dr. Graham Rich, voorzitter van Vanguard Healthcare Solutions, zei:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRebecca combineert op uitzonderlijke wijze leiderschap in de gezondheidszorg, strategisch inzicht en ervaring met het ontwikkelen van hoogwaardige klinische diensten. Belangrijk is dat ze zowel de operationele realiteit van zorgverleners begrijpt als het belang van samenwerking met artsen, beleidsmakers en leidinggevenden in de gezondheidszorg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cVanguard speelt een belangrijke rol in het helpen van zorgsystemen bij het aanpakken van capaciteits- en infrastructuuruitdagingen, en ik ben verheugd Rebecca te verwelkomen als leider van het bedrijf in de volgende ontwikkelingsfase.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rebecca zal ook toezicht houden op de verdere internationale ontwikkeling van Q-bital en de groei van Vanguard Life Sciences, waarmee de expertise van de groep wordt uitgebreid naar geavanceerde cleanroom-, laboratorium- en containmentomgevingen voor farmaceutische, biotechnologische en onderzoeksinstellingen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rebecca sprak over de bredere mogelijkheden die voor haar liggen en voegde daaraan toe:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEr is ook aanzienlijk potentieel buiten onze gevestigde activiteiten in de Britse gezondheidszorg.
