Rebecca joins Vanguard with extensive experience across healthcare leadership, strategy, transformation and operational delivery. Most recently, she spent seven years with Specsavers Group, including more than four years as Managing Director of Newmedica, one of the UK\u2019s leading providers of specialist eye care.<\/p>\n

During her time at Newmedica, Rebecca led the significant expansion of the organisation\u2019s national footprint, working closely with NHS commissioners and healthcare partners to improve access to care. She also brings considerable experience from senior strategy, transformation and leadership roles at Specsavers and ASDA, following an earlier career with KPMG.<\/p>\n

Her appointment comes at an important time for Vanguard and the healthcare systems we support. Across the UK, healthcare providers continue to face growing demand, waiting list pressures and the need to renew and modernise ageing estates, while maintaining access to high-quality patient care.<\/p>\n

Rebecca said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat attracted me to Vanguard is the opportunity to be part of the solution to help more patients. We have an experienced team, a strong track record and an ability to provide high-quality, low carbon healthcare environments quickly and flexibly, and at lower cost than traditional builds.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am passionate about working in partnership with the NHS and independent healthcare providers to help their teams deliver more care for patients. My focus will be on maintaining high clinical quality, strengthening our partnerships, continuing to innovate and ensuring our strategy is closely aligned with what healthcare systems need from us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As CEO, Rebecca will lead the wider Vanguard business, including our UK healthcare operations, international activities through Q-bital gezondheidszorgoplossingen<\/a><\/strong>, and our recently launched Vanguard Levenswetenschappen<\/a><\/strong> division.<\/p>\n

Rebecca will also oversee the continued international development of Q-bital and the growth of Vanguard Life Sciences, which extends the Group\u2019s expertise into advanced cleanroom, laboratory and containment environments for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research organisations.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the wider opportunities ahead, Rebecca added:<\/p>\n
