Daarin werd de noodzaak benadrukt om meer diensten, met name diensten die voorheen alleen in ziekenhuizen beschikbaar waren, in het hart van de gemeenschappen te brengen.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Barry Coakley, plaatsvervangend hoofdarts van Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board, zei: &quot;Wanneer een pati\u00ebnt te horen krijgt dat zijn of haar symptomen de eerste waarschuwingssignalen kunnen zijn van iets ernstigs, kan dat buitengewoon stressvol zijn. Zowel de pati\u00ebnt als zijn of haar familie kan zich hierdoor bezorgd, onrustig en angstig voelen en op zoek gaan naar antwoorden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;De nieuwe endoscopie-eenheid in Swindon, samen met de andere diagnostische centra in onze regio, helpt deze angst te verminderen, omdat tests en onderzoeken nu eerder dan voorheen kunnen beginnen.
