31 januari 2024<\/strong> \u2013 Nuffield Gezondheid<\/a>, de grootste liefdadigheidsinstelling voor de gezondheidszorg in Groot-Brittanni\u00eb, en Vanguard Healthcare Solutions zijn begonnen met de bouw van twee nieuwe operatiekamers in Nuffield Health Tees-ziekenhuis<\/a> ten behoeve van de NHS en particulier betalende pati\u00ebnten in de lokale gemeenschap.<\/p>\n

Op 8 januari begon de bouw van de speciaal gebouwde uitbreiding van twee verdiepingen om twee moderne, ruime operatiekamers te huisvesten, ter vervanging van de huidige twee 43 jaar oude bestaande operatiekamers van het Tees Hospital van Nuffield Health. Beide nieuwe operatiekamers zullen het ziekenhuis in staat stellen een breder scala aan chirurgische activiteiten aan te bieden aan de lokale bevolking en de verwachte voltooiingsdatum is september van dit jaar. De huidige operatiekamers van het ziekenhuis blijven ondertussen normaal in gebruik.<\/p>\n

Stacey Brunton, Nuffield Health's Health System Director bij het Nuffield Health Tees Hospital, zegt: \u201cHet is fantastisch nieuws om te beginnen met de bouw van de twee nieuwe operatiekamers van ons ziekenhuis, in samenwerking met Vanguard Healthcare Solutions. Ze zullen toonaangevende klinische faciliteiten bieden aan onze consultants en getalenteerde artsen om de beste verbonden gezondheidszorg te bieden ter ondersteuning van de gezondheids- en welzijnsbehoeften van NHS en particulier betalende pati\u00ebnten. Dit omvat mensen uit de lokale gemeenschap die gewrichtsvervangingen, ruggengraatzorg, oogzorg, prostaat-, gynaecologie- en gezondheidszorgdiensten voor vrouwen nodig hebben.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nuffield Health Tees Hospital werkt samen met Vanguard Healthcare Solutions om de nieuwe theaters te ontwerpen en te bouwen, die zullen worden gebouwd met behulp van moderne bouwmethoden en modulaire gebouwen zullen zijn. Het merendeel van de bouwwerkzaamheden wordt buiten de locatie voltooid, waardoor de impact voor de buren van het ziekenhuis tot een minimum wordt beperkt. Als onderdeel van de bouw zullen er ook meer parkeerplaatsen worden gecre\u00eberd op de ziekenhuissite in Stockton-on-Tees.<\/p>\n

Lindsay Dransfield, Chief Commercial Officer van Vanguard Healthcare Solutions, zegt: \u201cWe zijn verheugd om samen te werken met het Nuffield Health Tees Hospital in dit opwindende project.<\/p>\n

\u201cModulair bouwen is sneller, milieuvriendelijker, minder storend en biedt een kosteneffectief alternatief voor traditionele bouwmethoden. Het grootste deel van de bouwwerkzaamheden wordt buiten de locatie voltooid, waardoor de impact op een drukke locatie en voor de buren van het ziekenhuis tot een minimum wordt beperkt.
