{"id":3869,"date":"2021-07-06T15:27:14","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T15:27:14","guid":{"rendered":"\/?p=3869"},"modified":"2021-07-06T15:27:14","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T15:27:14","slug":"vanguard-helps-trust-address-patient-waiting-times-in-the-aftermath-of-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vanguardhealthcare.co.uk\/nl_nl\/vanguard-helps-trust-address-patient-waiting-times-in-the-aftermath-of-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Vanguard helpt Trust bij het aanpakken van de wachttijden van pati\u00ebnten in de nasleep van COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mobiele gezondheidszorgoplossingen helpen een Britse zorgverzekeraar bij het aanpakken van de wachttijden van pati\u00ebnten in de nasleep van de COVID-19-pandemie.<\/p>\n<p>In april 2020 zijn drie trusts samengevoegd tot \u00e9\u00e9n trust <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mse.nhs.uk\/\">Midden- en Zuid-Essex NHS Foundation Trust<\/a>, een organisatie waarvan de groep ziekenhuizen een enorm scala aan klinische diensten en zorg biedt aan een bevolking van meer dan 1,2 miljoen mensen in centraal en zuid-Essex. V\u00f3\u00f3r maart 2020 waren deze trusts er door een aantal effectieve maatregelen in geslaagd het aantal mensen dat meer dan een jaar wachtte op een keuzeprocedure terug te brengen tot minder dan 200.<\/p>\n<p>Na de fusie, en als gevolg van COVID-19 en de annulering van keuzeprocedures in alle ziekenhuistrusts tijdens de eerste periode van afsluiting, heeft de nieuw gevormde Trust de wachttijden weer zien toenemen en telde ze vanaf maart 2021 meer dan 8.500 mensen die al meer dan een jaar op hun procedure wachtten.<\/p>\n<p>Terwijl de beperkingen werden versoepeld, begon dat aantal af te nemen, maar de Trust wilde er alles aan doen om de capaciteit te vergroten. Een deel van dat werk wordt uitgevoerd samen met Vanguard Healthcare Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Vanguard is het toonaangevende medische technologiebedrijf in Groot-Brittanni\u00eb en biedt een breed scala aan mobiele en modulaire oplossingen voor zorgverleners om hen te helpen de capaciteit te vergroten om essenti\u00eble pati\u00ebntenzorg te bieden.<\/p>\n<p>Gedurende een eerste periode van zes maanden zal Vanguard drie verschillende mobiele oplossingen leveren in drie ziekenhuizen van de Trust, ter ondersteuning van verschillende disciplines. Bij <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mse.nhs.uk\/broomfield-hospital\/\">Broomfield-ziekenhuis<\/a> een Vanguard bezoekend ziekenhuis zal extra capaciteit bieden voor oogheelkundige procedures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mse.nhs.uk\/basildon-university-hospital\/\">Basildon Universitair Ziekenhuis<\/a> A <a href=\"\/nl_nl\/facilities\/operating-theatres\/\">mobiel laminair flowtheater<\/a> ondersteunt orthopedie en op <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mse.nhs.uk\/southend-hospital\/\">Zuidend Ziekenhuis<\/a> Voor algemene chirurgie zal een mobiel theater worden gebruikt. Naast standaard oogheelkundige procedures zal de eenheid in Broomfield ook complexere oogheelkundige operaties uitvoeren.<\/p>\n<p>Vanguard zal ook ondersteunen door de inzet van een team van 16 medewerkers voor de drie oplossingen. Alle drie de units zullen minimaal vijf dagen per week draaien, terwijl Basildon naar verwachting zeven dagen per week zal draaien.<\/p>\n<p>De Vanguard-oplossingen die door de Trust worden gebruikt, bieden klinische omgevingen van hoge kwaliteit die baanbrekend en innovatief zijn. Ze kunnen volledig los van het ziekenhuis worden ingezet, of naar wens naadloos worden gekoppeld.<\/p>\n<p>Bezoekende ziekenhuizen omvatten een <a href=\"\/nl_nl\/facilities\/operating-theatres\/\">operatiezaal<\/a> En <a href=\"\/nl_nl\/facilities\/ward-solutions\/\">afdeling<\/a>, waardoor een volledig pati\u00ebntentraject mogelijk is, onafhankelijk van de bezittingen van het ziekenhuis. Deze omvatten anesthesie-, operatiekamer- en eerste fase herstelruimte, ontvangst-\/verpleegkundigenruimtes, HEPA-gefilterde omgevingslucht en nutsruimtes.
