Een Brits medisch technologiebedrijf helpt een\n\n Lothian ziekenhuis\n<\/a>\nde capaciteit voor endoscopieonderzoeken vergroten en de wachttijden voor pati\u00ebnten verkorten.<\/p>\n

Vanguard Healthcare Solutions werkt samen met NHS Lothian in het St John's Hospital in Livingston en levert een mobiel\n\n endoscopie suite\n<\/a>\nom de capaciteit voor onderzoeken, waaronder maag-, darm- en borstprocedures, te helpen vergroten.<\/p>\n

De suite is ontworpen en gebouwd door Vanguard en omvat een scala aan faciliteiten, waaronder een receptie, wachtruimte, spreekkamer, opname-\/ontslagruimte, behandelkamer, herstelafdeling, toiletten en kleedkamer, verfrissingsruimte, nutsruimtes, schone verwerkingsruimte, een- doorstroom voor scopen, doorvoer-endoscopenreiniger\/-desinfector, speciale decontaminatieruimte en een opbergkast voor endoscopen met ultraviolet licht.<\/p>\n

De suite beschikt over HEPA-gefilterde omgevingslucht die voldoet aan de EUGMP-normen van klasse C.\n\"\"\nNHS Lothian maakt sinds eind vorig jaar gebruik van de Vanguard mobiele endoscopiesuite en zal naar verwachting maximaal twee jaar ter plaatse blijven. Vanguard levert ook klinisch ondersteunend personeel dat samenwerkt met de eigen endoscopieartsen van het ziekenhuis.<\/p>\n

Vanguard Senior Account Manager Simon Squirrell zei: \u201cDe suite biedt een complete klinische omgeving waarin pati\u00ebnten kunnen worden geboekt, voorbereid, hun procedure kunnen ondergaan en kunnen herstellen, waardoor de pati\u00ebnt een naadloze ervaring wordt geboden.<\/p>\n

\u201cDe unit is sinds eind vorig jaar ter plaatse en is in december operationeel geworden. Gedurende de twee jaar dat het systeem naar verwachting ter plaatse zal zijn, zal het NHS Lothian helpen de capaciteit voor deze procedures te vergroten en ervoor te zorgen dat honderden pati\u00ebnten sneller kunnen worden gezien. Er zijn maximaal tien afspraken per dag gepland en de feedback die we hebben gekregen van zowel de artsen die op de afdeling werken als van de pati\u00ebnten die daar hun ingrepen hebben ondergaan, is buitengewoon positief.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
