Mae&#039;r cyfanswm yn cyfateb i fwy na thri chwarter miliwn (755,046) o apwyntiadau iechyd menywod, nifer sydd wedi codi o 360,400 ychydig cyn y pandemig.<\/p>\n<p>Mae mynd i&#039;r afael \u00e2&#039;r oedi hyn, meddai arbenigwyr, nid yn unig yn bryder iechyd ond hefyd yn &#039;angenrheidrwydd economaidd a chymdeithasol&#039; gyda chost amcangyfrifedig peidio \u00e2 thrin menywod yn gyflym am gyflyrau gynaecolegol tua \u00a311bn y flwyddyn.<\/p>\n<p>Wrth i amseroedd aros hir am ofal gynaecoleg nad yw&#039;n ganser barhau, mae Coleg Brenhinol yr Obstetryddion a&#039;r Gynaecolegwyr wedi galw am gymorth brys ac am gyllid hirdymor a chynaliadwy i fynd i&#039;r afael \u00e2&#039;r problemau sy&#039;n sbarduno twf rhestrau aros.<\/p>\n<p>Dangosodd adroddiad diweddaraf y sefydliad fod rhestrau aros gynaecoleg yn y DU wedi tyfu o draean ers eu canfyddiadau yn 2022. Ac maen nhw&#039;n rhybuddio mai dim ond rhan o&#039;r broblem y mae&#039;r data&#039;n ei dal, gyda llawer mwy o fenywod yn debygol o aros am brofion diagnostig i gadarnhau eu cyflyrau neu am ofal dilynol hanfodol ar \u00f4l triniaethau cychwynnol.<\/p>\n<p>Yn ogystal, roedd atgyfeiriadau newydd i gynaecoleg ym mis Rhagfyr 2024 28% yn uwch o&#039;i gymharu \u00e2&#039;r ffigurau a gofnodwyd ym mis Mawrth 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Mae mynd i&#039;r afael \u00e2&#039;r mater hwn ar frys, medden nhw, yn hanfodol ar gyfer iechyd corfforol a meddyliol pobl a&#039;u hansawdd bywyd yn ogystal \u00e2&#039;i effaith ar gymdeithas ehangach.<\/p>\n<p>Mae&#039;r adroddiad yn nodi &#039;effaith ddinistriol a chynyddol&#039; oediadau gan fod menywod yr effeithir arnynt yn aml yn dioddef &#039;poen cronig, llethol&#039; a symptomau iechyd corfforol a meddyliol sy&#039;n gwaethygu. Mae effeithiau ar rannau eraill o&#039;r system gofal iechyd gyda thua 25% o fenywod yn aros am apwyntiad yn gorfod mynychu Adran Damweiniau ac Achosion Brys oherwydd eu symptomau.<\/p>\n<p>Yn y cyfamser, mae adroddiad ar wah\u00e2n dan arweiniad Cydffederasiwn y GIG yn tynnu sylw at oblygiadau economaidd ehangach, gan amcangyfrif bod absenoldebau o&#039;r gweithle a achosir gan gyflyrau gynaecolegol fel mislif trwm, endometriosis, ffibroidau, a chostau ofar\u00efaidd yn costio bron i \u00a311 biliwn yn flynyddol i economi&#039;r DU.<\/p>\n<p>Felly, sut gall darparwyr gofal iechyd leihau amseroedd aros ar gyfer gweithdrefnau a thriniaethau diagnostig gynaecolegol?<\/p>\n<p>Mae&#039;r RCOG wedi annog llywodraethau ledled y DU i ymrwymo i gyllid hirdymor a gweithredu strategaethau cynhwysfawr i leihau amseroedd aros, gan ddadlau bod buddsoddiad cynaliadwy yn hanfodol i &#039;sicrhau mynediad amserol at ofal ac i atal dirywiad pellach yng nghanlyniadau iechyd menywod&#039;.<\/p>\n<p>Mae mynd i&#039;r afael \u00e2&#039;r mater hwn cyn gynted \u00e2 phosibl yn rhan o Gynllun Newid a gyhoeddwyd gan y Llywodraeth yn ddiweddar. Mae hefyd yn ffurfio conglfaen Cytundeb Partneriaeth y GIG a&#039;r Sector Annibynnol, a gyhoeddwyd ym mis Ionawr, ac y mae Vanguard Healthcare Solutions yn llofnodwr ohono.<\/p>\n<p>Felly beth sy&#039;n cael ei wneud? Mae symleiddio prosesau a&#039;u cynnig mor agos \u00e2 phosibl i gartref cleifion wedi profi i fod yn llwyddiannus. Nid yn unig y mae&#039;r hwb yn helpu cleifion i gael eu gweld yn gynt, ond mae&#039;n eu galluogi i dderbyn gofal yn y gymuned yn agosach at adref.<\/p>\n<p>Mae ychwanegu capasiti i ganiat\u00e1u i ddarparwyr gofal iechyd ymgymryd \u00e2 gweithdrefnau ychwanegol \u2013 diagnostig a thriniaeth \u2013 yn ateb arall.<\/p>\n<p>Yn ei Chynllun ar gyfer Newid, mae&#039;r Llywodraeth wedi addo datblygu mwy o Ganolfannau Diagnostig Cymunedol a Hybiau Llawfeddygol. Gallai&#039;r rheini, drwy greu capasiti clinigol ychwanegol ar gyflymder, fod yn allweddol i fynd i&#039;r afael \u00e2&#039;r mater pwysig hwn yn llwyddiannus, meddai Simon Squirrell, Cyfarwyddwr Busnes y DU ar gyfer Datrysiadau Gofal Iechyd Vanguard:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cFel sefydliad sy\u2019n canolbwyntio\u2019n llwyr ar ofal iechyd a helpu darparwyr gofal iechyd i ddod o hyd i\u2019r ffordd orau o fynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r heriau maen nhw\u2019n eu hwynebu mewn unrhyw arbenigedd, rydyn ni\u2019n gwybod pa mor bwysig yw creu atebion sy\u2019n effeithio\u2019n uniongyrchol ar ofal cleifion \u2013 a gwneud hynny\u2019n gyflym.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cRydym wedi gweld ein mannau gofal iechyd symudol a modiwlaidd \u2013 o theatrau i wardiau, clinigau ac ystafelloedd diagnostig \u2013 yn hynod lwyddiannus wrth helpu i leihau amseroedd aros ar draws pob arbenigedd, gan gynnwys gynaecoleg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYn fwyaf diweddar, mae cyfleuster Park View yn Ysbyty Southmead, a osodwyd yn wreiddiol i helpu yn ystod gwaith adnewyddu, wedi bod mor llwyddiannus wrth helpu i ychwanegu capasiti, ei fod wedi aros ar y safle ac mae bellach yn cael ei ddefnyddio ar gyfer ychwanegolrwydd \u2013 yn enwedig mewn wroleg a gweithdrefnau\u2019r fron.
