Unit Facilitator

Vanguard Healthcare Solutions is a fast-growing company. We are a UK-based, privately owned, international provider of infrastructure and clinical services supporting healthcare clients worldwide. Vanguard Healthcare Solutions was established in 1999.

Our purpose-designed and built mobile and modular facilities provide our clients with new or replacement healthcare spaces including operating theatres, endoscopy suites and sterilisation and diagnostic departments. As part of our solution to our clients we also support them with clinical teams and equipment for our facilities.

We are looking for Unit Facilitator in a national role. Due to the nature of the job role this post requires flexibility and involves travel across the UK. The post holder will be expected to spend a significant proportion of their time away from home.

Responsibilities

• Performing an initial clean of the unit(s) in preparation for the arrival of equipment and consumables
• Ordering of medical gas cylinders from BOC, if required
• Changing of medical gas cylinders with assistance from a designated host hospital staff member
• Troubleshoot units with daily check/tests on; Water softeners, cabinets, AERs, RO plant, Air Conditioning, heating system, lighting etc
• Ordering of any Vanguard supplied consumables
• Liaise with engineers re attending units to complete work orders
• Co-ordinating equipment maintenance and repairs
• Co-ordinating unit system maintenance
• Complete and submit Vanguard weekly report of Units
• Maintain unit handover files and log books

Requirements

• Experience as Theatre support worker or similar role within theatres
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid UK driving license
