Vanguard Healthcare is proud to have achieved the Investors In People Standard in 2006 and to have maintained it ever since. The business has been through many changes during this time, but it has remained true to its core values with the emphasis being on creating an environment where staff can flourish and achieve their full potential.

The nature of our business is such that many staff work in small teams in different parts of the country. Being a scattered, reactive and fast moving organisation, it’s important to keep communication high on the agenda so staff can understand the goals the company has, and how they can help to achieve them.

All our staff act as ambassadors for the business, and to do that well, they need to be well informed, motivated and proud of the Company they work for. We hope that by planning, delivering and reviewing our management and development practices, we achieve this. The IIP framework helps us to focus on the things that are important, and we look forward to our reassessment in June 2012.
